They have expanded their Patterson operation, doubling the size. Located on I5, perfect position to the regional DCs in Tracy, the growers in Watsonville and the Port/SF Bay Area.
They now offer rail service on the UP line. They have cut the doors for the oversized cars. This should be a good selling feature as trucking gets more expensive.
They have added 6,000 new racked pallet positions and offer frozen, refrigerated 36-50 and ambient temp warehousing. This is a fully secured, CTPAT ready facility that is 100% video secured. It is perfect for Port of Oakland Import/export. Patterson is the site of one of the monster Amazon locations and they are out working hard to attract Amazon suppliers. They offer a daily delivery program to Amazon Patterson and Amazon Tracy.
They have started construction on 95,000 sq. ft. solar project, dramatically improving our carbon footprint and offsetting our electricity purchases.
Modesto
They are in the process of getting their BRC Certification. This is the top of the top food safety and sanitation rating available. They are doing this for Nestle and Wal-Mart. This is the new standard that the consumer companies will be demanding. They are very excited about this, but it is rigorous and complicated. It will set us apart. They are now in 535,000 sq. ft. with Ambient, 50-60 degree and 36 degree space. They are served by UP and BNSF. Full security, 100% video and limited access facility.
Overall:
They are organic approved and have a variety of registrations.
All facilities are AIB Superior and we are moving to exceed those standards.
Their Modesto, Patterson and Turlock facilities all utilized RF inventory control and management.
Their Modesto facility is a tax paid licensed wine, beer and spirits warehouse. They are also a bonded wine cellar.
