What about staff? Just like the physical building matters, so do the people who work there. Can you trust them? Do you get along easily with the managers and workers? Is it easy to communicate with them? You could find the nicest physical setup only to discover the people who work there are lazy, mean or doing illegal things. So, be cautious and choose wisely– work with quality people.
Finally, there’s the issue of costs involved in warehousing. Does the warehouse you intend to work with seem to be run efficiently? Are they wasteful or not? Do they operate smoothly or not? Furthermore, is rent affordable? You don’t want to get into a situation where you’re paying more than you should be paying for the warehouse aspect(s) of your business.
